Evolve Theatre, a new theatre company whose mission is to create positive social change through theatre, is making its debut on March 18 at the Long Beach Playhouse. Evolve is producing a new play about the Transgender community, called Choosing Us*.
Thanks in part to GSAN activism, trans and queer youth across Southern California are demanding that political leaders speak out about the pervasive violence targeting trans women of color, and that investments be made specifically benefiting transgender leadership of color.
