Please join Centro C.H.A., for our 9th annual Cesar E. Chavez Festival & Community Resource Fair on Saturday, March 31st. It will be a “A Day of Service” providing free resources, music, cultural art performances and much more!
In honor of the Cesar E. Chavez Legacy, and to emphasize the importance of education, Centro C.H.A. will provide the opportunity for current Long Beach High School Seniors and/or College Students attending a Long Beach Educational Institution to apply for the Cesar E. Chavez Scholarship Poetry Contest.
In addition to the festivities, Centro C.H.A. will be hosting a Citizenship Application Completion Workshop between 11 AM – 3 PM inside the Jenny Oropeza Community Center at Cesar E. Chavez Park. This workshop is made possible through the support of many organizations including Congressional Office of the 37th District Laura Richardson, Long Beach City Council offices of the 1st District Robert Garcia, 4th District Patrick O’Donnell, and 6th District Dee Andrews.
