Long Beach Arts Month: Call to Artists and Arts Promoters to submit October Events
The Arts Council for Long Beach seeks arts events happening in Long Beach this October. The Arts Council will promote arts events through Long Beach Arts Month (formerly called GLOBAL).
The Arts Council for Long Beach is asking arts exhibitors and promoters to add their event listings to the Long Beach Arts Month calendar by following instructions posted at longbeachartsmonth.org/
In previous years, Long Beach Arts Month has promoted diverse arts events happening in our own backyard, from world-class exhibitions at major museums to groundbreaking art shows, live music and festivals across every district of the city.
The heart of this program is its comprehensive online calendar of events that shows residents and visitors the plethora of arts activities to enjoy each October in Long Beach. In the past, this program has featured over 1,000 unique experiences from the “Top of the Town” to Downtown.
Individual Long Beach artists, arts groups and arts businesses can also be promoted on LongBeachArtsMonth.org by joining the Long Beach Arts & Culture Registry at artslb.org/registry. Long Beach Arts Month promotes member profiles on its website to thousands of visitors each year. It’s free to join and takes just a few minutes. Sign up atartslb.org/registry.
Long Beach Arts Month celebrates arts events happening in Long Beach every October, during National Arts and Humanities Month, a coast-to-coast collective celebration of culture in America.
Long Beach Arts Month is the new name for the program formerly called GLOBAL. While GLOBAL promoted “a world of art happening in Long Beach,” Long Beach Arts Month crystallizes the same mission through a Long Beach lens.
