Cortos Y Fuertes/Short and Strong is a student film contest sponsored by the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor and UNITE HERE. They are seeking young people’s stories about immigration and how it has affected communities and lives.
The short student film contest is open to everyone. The competition has an impressive list of judges including Dolores Huerta, co-founder United Farm Workers, former Mayor of Los Angeles Antonio Villaraigosa and Rosario Dawson, Actor, producer and activist.
