Nurses Want Industry Reforms to Enhance Life-Saving Treatment

Understaffed, these dialysis nurses say they are pressured to rush through life-saving treatments and work excessive hours. Nurses and patients spoke at this New America Media & SEIU-United Health Workers media briefing to share why they believe reform is needed and how SB 349 might help.

Veronica Caro

Veronica Caro was born and raised in Santa Ana, California. In 2015, she received her B.A. in Cinema and Television Arts with an emphasis in cinematography, from Cal-State Northridge. Her love for film and ambition to be a part of a production began when she attended the Orange County High School of the Arts. Smith mostly publishes as a video journalist, but also writes, photographs, as well. M strives to get the best camera shots and offer readers and viewers a full experience by submitting a package deal of photos, a story, and a video to complement each article. Smith wears many hats including producing the Wavegang podcast as a team manager.
