The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration was a happy and peaceful affair. The parade was a success, with many different organizations and schools marching along Martin Luther King Jr. Street. The crowd watched on as floats passed by, featuring both live and recorded music.  Following the parade, revelers gathered at a local park where vendors set up informational booths and sold food.
