Christopher Covington, a central Long Beach resident, youth leader on the Building Healthy Communities: Long Beach (BHCLB) Steering Committee and Youth Committee, and CCEJ volunteer extraordinaire will be representing BHCLB at the official launch of Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation. The Born This Way Foundation will officially launch on February 29th. Lady Gaga and her mother, Born This Way Foundation President and co-founder Cynthia Germanotta, will be kicking off the campaign to create a kinder and braver world at Harvard University’s Sanders Theatre. Chris will be joined by 13 other youth from the 13 other BHC sites to travel with the President of The California Endowment, Dr. Bob Ross for for the kick off event.
