The Arts Council for Long Beach, in partnership with Arts for LA, will hold a Candidate Forum on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, from 6:00pm-9:00pm. The event will be held at the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) located at 628 Alamitos Avenue in Long Beach, California. Candidates for the Long Beach Unified School District School Board, Long Beach City College Board of Trustees and Long Beach City Council have been invited to attend. All three forums will be moderated by Sandy VandenBerge from the Long Beach Community Foundation.
This free public event will connect candidates running in the April 10, 2012 local election with constituents interested in Long Beach’s rich cultural heritage and deep commitment to the arts.
