You are invited to participate in commemorating the memory of one of our nation’s greatest heroes, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.. The Peace & Unity Parade Celebration is on Saturday, January 19, 2013, commencing at 10:30 a.m. The parade will originate on Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue and Anaheim Street and will proceed North to Martin Luther King, Jr. Park.
At the conclusion of the parade, the celebration will continue at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park. This festive-filled program includes quality entertainment, food booths, craft and merchandise vendors. Also, there will be a children and teen area, that will include games and rides. The hours will be from 12:30 pm – 5:00 pm.
