The Arts Council for Long Beach recently sponsored an event called A Lot to activate empty lots in the city with art and performances. One of the artists who participated was Carlos Ramirez. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Carlos has exhibited his work at the Palo Alto art center, the American Museum of Ceramic Art, and the Los Angeles Municipal Gallery. Currently, he teaches ceramics at Pasadena City College.
