North Long Beach Library Gets a Makeover This Spring

[Ed. Note] After years of delay, the new North Long Beach Library is scheduled to start construction in spring of this year. The above presentation takes a look at the history of the space and the process of creating this much-needed modern library in a part of the city that often gets neglected. The Journalism 495 Enterprise Reporting in Diverse Communities course challenges students to build on their journalism skills covering various neighborhoods throughout Long Beach, including North Long Beach, Central Long Beach, Downtown, and the Westside.
