How LB Young Men of Color Are Committing to Succeeding in School

[Ed. Note]: Last week, over 400 students in Long Beach convened together at California State University, Long Beach to talk about the issues they face as boys and men of color. In the video above, VoiceWaves caught up with students from Poly, Cabrillo, Jordan and Wilson High Schools about what they planned on doing to make sure they succeed in school.

Ben Novotny

Ben Novotny is an alumnus of California State University, Long Beach where he majored in Journalism and minored in American Studies. At CSULB Ben was a staff writer for The Union Weekly, the student-run campus newspaper and was actively involved with the school's TV production studio.
