Two Day Festival This Weekend at L.A. Memorial Sports Arena & Exposition Park

FYF Fest kicks off its 12th year this Saturday at L.A. Memorial Sports Arena & Exposition Park, and they are excited to share all artist set times now. While Deerhunter are unfortunately no longer able to play this year’s festival, we are excited to have our friends !!! (Chk Chk Chk) back to the fest to dance with us on Saturday night. General admission two-day festival passes are still available for $175 as are VIP passes for $329, with all ticketing info and FAQs available on

The festival is working closely with Metro Los Angeles to ensure safe and timely travel, with a rush hour schedule of trains every six minutes leading up to the gates opening at 2pm. Last trains both nights depart at 1:30am for all lines or 2:10am for the Expo Line only (no transfers.) More info here.

VoiceWaves is a Long Beach youth-led journalism and media-training project. The youth, ages 16-24, are learning to report, write, and create digital journalism content. Their reports will raise awareness of community health issues and activate change.
