Derek Brooks, who was formerly displaced, gives his perspective of what the city should do about the increasing homelessness in Long Beach.

Veronica Caro

Veronica Caro was born and raised in Santa Ana, California. In 2015, she received her B.A. in Cinema and Television Arts with an emphasis in cinematography, from Cal-State Northridge. Her love for film and ambition to be a part of a production began when she attended the Orange County High School of the Arts. There, she was able to explore the foundations of film, as well as creating her own projects. Since then, she has been an active filmmaker, producing several documentaries focusing on diverse issues. She aspires to attend graduate school next year to further improve her filmmaking skills.
