The Museum of Latin American Art’s Día de los Muertos Exhibition displayed art and altars from SoCal artists between Sept. 26 and Nov. 11.
One artist, Monica Balmelli, created a blanket, “Memory Quilt, Femicides in Mexico,” honoring women killed in the country for a selected period of time.
The annual exhibition was open to all ages and artists of any ethnic backgrounds could be considered for exhibition.
