Social Justice Event #JustLBC Welcomed Long Beach to a Day of Arts, Music

Local community organizations welcomed the public to a day of art, music and dance on Saturday at MacArthur Park between noon and 3 p.m. #JustLBC, an annual event organized by Long Beach Forward (formerly known as Building Healthy Communities Long Beach), aims to engage residents in social justice issues around the city.

The event featured Afro-Cuban hip-hop band Earth Arrow, Xipetotec Long Beach Danza Azteca, Dembrebrah Afrikan Drum and Dance Ensemble, The “Boogalettes” dancers and “M Josh,” a young Michael Jackson performer.
