Envisioning a Healthier Future: Improving the Health of Women, Infants and Families through a Life Course Perspective.
Health professionals interested in learning more about the life course approach are invited to join us for this one-day training.
Participants will learn about national recommendations for maternal health care and the importance of reproductive health planning which includes preconception and interconception health as keys to improving the life course trajectory. The Life Course Perspective has implications for the ways in which we might reduce racial and ethnic disparities, as well as disparities across income groups, communities, states, and nations. In addition, the Life Course Perspective points to the importance of critical periods for intervention, and cumulative impacts of stress, environment and other factors which may impact reproductive health.
You must register in advance of the event. On-site registration will not be available.
Online registration for this event will close at 2pm on Monday, 21st May.
To register after this time, please call (562) 570-4272.
