Beyond This Moment: North LB Tackles Teen Problems

Last month, students and administrators at Jordan High School in North Long Beach came together for a Youth Empowerment Conference.

The event, which was was youth and high school-produced,  was created to tackle the issues that teens are faced with every day so that they can move beyond the moment to one of self-empowerment, said Jordan High WRAP Coordinator Candace Meehan.

Topics covered included suicide prevention, youth violence and restorative justice, among many others. The see how the event went and to hear voices from people who attended, play the video below.
