NewsLongBeach: The Affordable Care Act

The Affordable Care Act was designed to provide access to affordable health care to millions of Americans who lack it now. In Long Beach, the number of uninsured may be close to 100,000 people. The City of Long Beach’s Health Department is working with state and community partners to sign up as many people as possible for health insurance.
