Elizabeth Campos is a journalism student at Cal State University Long Beach and is also minoring in political science.
After living in Mexico for 15 years she now uses writing to understand what goes on around her and inform the community. Elizabeth likes going to concerts and trying out different types of food.

Crystal was raised in South Los Angeles and is the first college graduate in her family. She is a class of 2016 CSULB graduate who has served as an editor for her campus newspaper and freelanced for the Long Beach Post and Random Length News. Lightmary is a Whittier College Student pursuing a major in Public Health. She is actively involved in the student run newspaper, the Quaker Campus, and cultural organizations on campus. As a proud Latina, she loves to sing Mariachi at events and family parties whenever she can.

Reasmay Veasna mostly goes by the name Devi. She is Vice President of the Anti-Human Trafficking Club at Long Beach PolyTechnic High School and is also a peer counselor there. She describes herself as a whimsical and outgoing person.

Conner is a junior studying Cinema and Television Arts at Cal State Fullerton. When he is not busy balancing school and work, he loves to binge watch TV shows, movies, keep up-to-date on pop culture references and camp with friends.

Lola is a very outgoing and trustworthy person who loves writing and is a self-described overachiever. She’s a bookworm on her free time and she enjoys eating donuts.

Nia is a 17-year-old student who aspires to express her thoughts through all forms of writing and creative outlets. She has a slight obsession with chocolate, slam poems, YA novels, fashion, and music. You can find her in an ethnic studies class or a funky coffee shop.
